They are designed to be used together.
Our alternator cover guard protects the thin stock cover from becoming perforated by your shifter or rocks. Easy to install using the stock bolt locations (we supply new bolts).
Our Rock Slider skid plate allows you to glide over rocks instead of grinding up your bare aluminum skid plate.
1/4” thick (6mm) 5052 fully welded and ground powdercoated aluminum skid plate structure. Installs using the OEM bolt holes in the front of the frame, and near the foot pegs. No U bolts or hidden brackets! Installs in 5 minutes. Includes all needed hardware. Lifetime warranty on the aluminum skid plate.
Our design uses a replaceable 3/8” thick (10mm) black Nylon slider plates, installed easily using 6 M8 flathead screws while the aluminum skid plate is still on the bike. The Nylon slider plate will last a very long time but, like brake pads, might eventually need to be replaced. Contact us for a replacement slider plate (excluded from our lifetime warranty)
Compatible with Sutton oil cooler and our Hemisphere Offroad Alternator Cover Guard.
If you own a Sutton oil cooler, please contact us first. Either their bracket or our alternator guard needs to be trimmed, we can show you photos before you buy the part.

CALIFORNA OWNERS BEWARE: SOME NEWER MODELS HAVE AN EVAP CANISTER THAT INTERFERES WITH OUR SKID PLATE. WE MAY ADJUST OUR DESIGN IN THE FUTURE WHEN WE DO OUR NEXT BATCH BUT FOR NOW, YOU WOULD NEED TO NOTCH OUR SKID PLATE TO CLEAR IT. THIS WOULD NOT AFFECT OUR WARRANTY. SEE PHOTO BELOW.
ALTHOUGH WE WOULD NEVER SUGGEST THAT CUSTOMERS DELETE ANY SMOG EQUIPMENT OFF OUR BIKE….THIS IS NORMALLY NOT A PROBLEM BECAUSE THAT CANISTER SEEMS TO BREAK OFF THE BIKE ON THE TRAIL FREQUENTLY, DELETING THE PROBLEM.
Using included spacers, this does clear the Big Gun header.
